New Series!

FINALLY! 


I think is more than time to set a beginning for this blog. There's been years of planning and designing and even though everything is not 100% ready yet, I just can't wait to postpone this project even further. For that reason, the SevenSports Channel is finally "live"!


And to kickoff the blog I want you people to decide on which College should I start my next Dynasty.


Since I am not american, I have no connection with any state nor tradition or whatever. But I like, enjoy, love, cheer, watch and keep myself updated around the College Football and the NFL.


That's why I really want you guys to pick a College for me to (try to) drive to greatness. Firstly because I have no favorite college in particular and secondly because I think this will make the series a lot more interesting.


So, here we go. I will give you SEVEN College choices and the most voted by you will be the College I will be picking to start a Dynasty. But I should warn you. To make this WAY more interesting, I won't give as options the highest-ranked programs. Let's see who the contenders will be:

1. From ACC, the MARYLAND TERRAPINS.


2. From Big XII, the IOWA STATE CYCLONES.


3. From Big East, the PITTSBURGH PANTHERS.


4. From Big Ten, the OHIO STATE BUCKEYES.


5. From PAC-12, the WASHINGTON HUSKIES.


6. From SEC, the TENNESSEE VOLUNTEERS.


7. From Mountain West, the COLORADO STATE RAMS.

Piece of Advice

Essa aqui vai pra galera da EA Sports que produz o NCAA Football. São só algumas dicas de quem adora o game e certamente quer vê-lo melhorar a cada versão. Nesse post, o foco é na parte de Presentation.

This here goes to the guys at EA Sports who produce the NCAA Football series. It's just a couple of tips from who loves the game and definitely wants to see this franchise improve in each further version. In this post, the focus is on Presentation.

Entendam que isso, na verdade, é uma crítica construtiva. Não sou um "EA Hater", mas concordo que os jogos produzidos pela 2K Sports realmente ficam muito a frente dos jogos da EA Sports, que são mais arcade do que simulation. Por isso, como me considero quase um "Sports Hardcore Gamer" gostaria de jogar games que são o mais próximo do que eu vejo pela TV (por isso que os games da 2K me atraem mais. Eles prestam atenção aos detalhes). Ah! Eu jogo hoje Madden e NCAA, mas se tivesse NFL 2K5 ou APF2K8 a história seria outra.

See this as a constructive critic and a positive piece of advice. I am not an 'EA Hater', but I agree that the games produced by 2K Sports really are a step ahead EA Sports games, whose are more arcade than simulation. That's why me, as a almost 'Sports Hardcore Gamer', would like to play games that are the closest to what I see on television, regarding presentation and gameplay (that's why I prefer 2K games than EA Sports games. 2K Sports pay attention to the details.) Oh! Today I play Madden and NCAA, but if I had NFL 2K5 or APF2K8, things would be different.
